Peck Motorsports headed to Homestead – Miami Speedway
Todd Peck Making Inaugural Start at Homestead
Participating in Charity Arthritis Foundation Walk
GLENNVILLE, Penn. (November 11, 2014) – Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will mark new horizons for Todd Peck. Peck, driver of the No. 07 Chevrolet, will make his inaugural start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Horizon Pharma will join the Arthritis Foundation as a sponsor aboard his Silverado when he tackles the 1.5-mile race track.
“This will be the second race that Horizon Pharma has joined us a sponsor,” Peck said. “I can’t say enough about their products and what a difference that they’ve made for me. We’re happy to have them take part in our weekend and look forward to giving them a good ride at Homestead.”
Peck has made four prior NCWTS starts in 2014. In addition to Dover International Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway will be the third venue that Peck has competed at for the first time this season.
“I’m really excited about racing at Homestead,” said Keith Wolfe, crew chief and general manager of Peck Motorsports. “It’s a track that we’ve always wanted to compete at. This will be the third track that we’ve raced at for the first time this season. It seems like we’ve really shortened our learning curve when we got to a new venue. We’re getting up to speed a lot quicker and adapting really well to the changes. It’s extremely rewarding to see us grow and strengthen as a race team and I’m proud of what we’re accomplishing.”
In addition to Friday’s event at Homestead, Peck has another race to attend. Peck will be a celebrity ambassador at the Arthritis Foundation Walk to Cure Arthritis on Saturday, November 15. He will have the Horizon Pharma race truck on display and will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with all in attendance. Peck, who was diagnosed with arthritis as a child, paired with the Arthritis Foundation to remind everyone who has been diagnosed with the condition that they can still live an active and fast-paced lifestyle.
“We’re very fortunate to have the Arthritis Foundation as an associate,” Peck said. “We appreciate the opportunities to help others and share my story. This is a great way to close out the year and start building for next season.”
